Mike Hart released by Colts
The Indy Star is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts have released Mike Hart. Very sad but you have to assume he'll be a backup on some NFL team.

Mike has a home at Michigan... but Wheatley would be a catch indeed.
A few more years in him. Somebody is going to grab him
Mike Hart would look great as a NE Patriot in the same backfield with Tom Brady.
be picked up. No worries
I watched every Colts game and whenever Mike Hart was in, I always thought he did better than the other backs. Of course, I could be biased....
Assistant to Fred Jackson anyone?? I bet he can recruit with the best and im sure he would do a great job on overstating every single one of their abilities.
Why not? I would love to see him install his work ethic into the young players at Michigan. He can definitely be well looked up too and be able to connect with the players very well since he played at Michigan not too long ago. I think it would be a perfect fit for him to come in as an assistant as well.
this was expected, he never got any reps other then in mop-up duty or if injuries occured. he struggled at times because the line is terrible so that doesnt help him and he isnt very good at pass blocking. the only reason addai is on the team is because he is a great pass-blocking RB but other wise he sucks so it is sad to see mike to go. Best of luck to him where ever he goes, he deserves a shot at getting more reps.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't one of his strengths at Michigan pass blocking? So your statement confuses me.
We should groom Mike to take over for Brady Hoke. If we get 15 years from Brady, he'll be 67 and Hart will be 41 and should have enough experience by then. But i expect Mike to spend 2 or 3 more years in the NFL, probably on special teams.
Go to Miami with Daniel Thomas.
If he can stay healthy he can do a job for some team out there. Hopefully he can get a chance to get another contract.
