Mich/State Predictions
Michigan comes back home for a very big game today against state at 4pm CBS. Our backs are against the wall, and the beatdown at East Lansing should have our guys motivated for this one today. In February, we were missing our swagger from the beginning of the year when we went on 20-1 start. The frosh have been playing better at home. Let's keep winning at home and protect it. I have the confidence will get it done today.

I feel like we are in the midst of an 2012 Illinois-like skid. Ever since that freaking half court shot this team has not been the same. I don't know what the hell happened to the defense. They went from 32nd in Defensive efficiency to 61st. These last 7 games the defense has to be one of the worst in the country. This team has lost confidence and I don't see them getting it back against a team we don't match up well with. MSU kicked the living crap out of us last game, and with our Students on break we won't get the same kind of boost. I think MSU wins by 20+.
We come out strong playing with emotion. Build an early 10+ point lead, MSU battles back to get it under 10 at halftime. 2nd half, MSU wears us down a little, but the game goes down to the wire. MSU just has a little too much energy at the end as the schedule makers gave them a huge advantage with a week off to rest and prepare.

My prediction is based on how many points I think Michigan's defense allows plus my desire for them to win.
It's amusing that everyone who thinks Michigan might lose is being labeled a Troll.
I forecast an afternoon of frustration, then hope, then joy, then frustration and ending with unwarranted anger and depression. Sparty will show us how to play defense and with passion.....we will demonstrate that we have more talent and show spurts of dominance and the result will be 78-70 Couch Burners.
I can see no way we actually win this game. They will own us on the boards, we will stand around and stare at each other while Trey dribbles around and though we will hang around thanks to solid home-floor shooting, we lose by 5.
Man I hate these pricks.
