Michigan/Late Afternoon Games Open Thread

I just don't want to deal with the Liveblog today.  And there are a number of good games in all 3 slots for a change. No #1 vs. #2, but a lot of depth this weekend.

Stop saying play calling, it's not the play calling. Borges isn't the one playing, is he the one snapping the ball??! Or blocking, or fumbling no I'm sorry your beginning to sound stupid play calling this play calling that

I'll say this...there comes a point (and Nebraska is facing this same challenge, as OSU)...you have to trust your QB to move the ball in the air.

They're sending the house every time, it's so obvious.

Stop complicating things and burn them on a slant!

You guys remember Roundtree's TD vs. MSU? Same thing. You want to send 8? Quick slant--->break tackle--->house.

The red zone playcalling is still bothering the heck out of me.  Is it so hard to roll Denard out and give him a run/pass option?  If we keep blowing red zone opportunities, we're going to keep Illinois in this game...and that makes me nervous.

At least the defense is getting great pressure!  It's helping defend the run AND pass.

They were great for a quarter and now they are swiss cheese.  And I think Craig James is right, Robinson is more like 180-185 and he can't compete against 250+ guys hitting him.  Illinois must be listening to the broadcast because they are putting 9 guys in the box and daring Robinson to throw.

are executing it well so far.  If the Oline can open holes and the backs be patient enough I think there are running lanes in the middle.  I think on the play where Shaw lost so many, it was because he ran by the hole in the middle of the line.
