Michigan/Alaska Hockey Open Thread
Wolverines are 15-6-4 and on FSN+ tonight. Got shut out one of the last times they played Alaska but looked great last weekend in Ferris State.

I'm still a bit of a hockey n00b but this helps. Thanks for the depth.

they are higher in the standings than OSU. OSU is a solid to very solid team this year and probably just played very well/caught ND on a bad night. In the end, it is hockey...you cannot take that much from a single hockey game

1 Michigan 40pts (18GP)
2. Notre Dame 38pts (19GP)
3. Miami 33pts (19GP)
4. Ferris State 29pts (20GP)
T5. Ohio State 28pts (17GP)
T5. Western Michigan 28pts (17GP)
7. Alaska 27pts (19GP)
8. Northern Michigan 26pts (17GP)
T9. Lake Superior State 20pts (17GP)
T9. Michigan State 20pts (17GP)
11. Bowling Green 8pts (!) (18GP)
Michigan has these games left:
vs. Alaska, vs MSU, @Miami, @Miami, vs OSU, vs OSU, vs WMU, vs WMU, @NMU, @NMU
This is probably the toughest stretch run of any team in contention for the regular season title...If Michigan is as good as they have seemed in the past few weekends, they will win the next two, split with Miami, take 3 of 4 in the WMU/OSU stretch, and sweep NMU. It will be interesting to see how this plays out...hopefully Michigan is for real, this stretch will sure prove if they are...

With the way Miami is tanking and considering that nd and the redhawks have to play a set, Michigan is easily in the driver seat for the number one seed in the ccha tourney. Nd is the only other team with a chance. And as young as they wreaths gotta take it.
