Damn, Maizen really hurt some feelings around here. However, ClassofLSA2000 will confirm I am not Maizen. I am getting a kick out of people thinking I am though, all because, uh, I brought up Michigan's record in night games? Oh well.

And Patterson wasn't our quarterback.  And Gary wasn't on our defensive line.  And Winovich wasn't a known asset.  And our secondary still had guys who are starting on Sunday these days.  And our offensive line coach was different.  And so were all the players.  And Don Brown wasn't here yet.  And...

For someone bringing up the past, you seem to have a terrible understanding of the incredibly weak correlation between past results and current expectations.  Harbaugh doesn't control the weather, the injuries that occur, and the way a ball bounces on a fumble.

What is amazing is that you continue to spend your time doing this right here. You pathetic little man. And I think I was wrong about who you are, exactly. Now I'm thinking both you, and the guy I thought you were, both have like 20 accounts each. Just pathetic.

Do you really have no better use of your time and energy?

Sure, but except for the 3rd string QB fucking monsoon game, those were all 'away' games.  In case you haven't noticed, it's 1000% different playing on the ROAD at night vs. at HOME.  Why TF do you think PSU schedules us at night every mf time?

So there absolutely is evidence we don't play well at night under this head coach.

I'm sure that's the conclusion that a troll like yourself would draw absent any sort of context or in-depth analysis of the data, but you'd be wrong.  In Michigan's six losses at night under Harbaugh:

  • 5 of 6 came on the road
  • The average final season winning percentage of the opponents was .771
  • The average margin of defeat in 5 of 6 games (excluding PSU as an outlier) was 4 points

So the conclusion to be drawn is that Michigan has played very competitively, mostly on the road, against top notch competition in their night games under Harbaugh.

Yay for moral victories.

That's it?  A stupid snide response?  I'm not the one making the meaningless point.  Citing a record of 2-6 in night games is an arbitrary and inane metric; yet you want to hit the board over the head with it as evidence that your indictment of Harbaugh's coaching abililty is justified.

Fine, Harbaugh's record in games played after 7:30 is bad, the corollary to that is he's got a record of 30-6 in games played during the daytime.  Are you going to assign him credit for that or find some way to spin that negatively as well to support your bullshit narrative?

Not true. We beat Minnesota last year and in a 7 PM kickoff in 2015 at Minnesota.

From my head we lost to Utah, Iowa, FSU, PSU, MSU and ND. So 3-6 overall, 1-1 at home, 1-4 on the road and 0-1 at a neutral site. This will be our chance for a first big time night win.
