Not surprised about Mone... never bought into the stuff about him being ready to play. Not surprised about Harris, either... guy just can't seem to stay healthy.

Green's a bit of a mystery—is he hurt? He's not as hard a runner as Smith, but he's got a bit more quickness and is OKif he gets a hole. Some have said he appears to have put on some bad--looking weight, so maybe that explains something.

Part of me sees a game like we played vs Northwestern and BYU - decent QBs on mediocre offenses who are devoured - and another part sees Minnesota (and some IU) where the D is surprisingly bendy and I lose another few weeks off my life today

Yes in my "by the #s" piece I see as PSU's offense somewhere btw Minn and NW.  We are more beat up then when we played NW and NW as at home and this on the road.  We have struggled to put a full game together vs anyone on the road (even MD we had a bad 1st half).  Also Barkley is better than anyone NW or Minn has.

Defensively PSU DL will be like MSU DL which gave us fits but they are playing non freshman in the DB.  My hope is we stay on the field long enough to tire out their DL in the 4th Q.  That is when teams seem to be start moving on PSU.  They play those 3 DL stars a ton.

Going to be a slog - Jake and OL in pass protect have to be good.  I dont expect the run game to do anything.  Maybe a fresh Isaac can come in and do some damage if they trust his hands.

Our road games aside from MD have all been nail biters and if you watch MD offense last week vs MSU that makes sense - its Div 3 level at this point.  So i expect not much different today - livers will be worn out by 3 PM.

What is the weather like in Penn St?  Does not look as cold as in other B1G venues?  I feel really good about our coaching level adjustment and gameplanning for today!

Everyone is watching Georgia Southern for potential upset, but I'm looking for Florida Atlantic to blow out Florida. Remember what Florida Gulf Coast did in the basketball tournament in 2013.
