Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Disappointing night all around. Hoping Denard gets healthy and coaches can get a #2 qb ready just in case.

This sucks yes. I look at it as not being prepared. I'm an offensive coordinator for a semi pro team in upstate ny and even at that level I prepare at the end of each practice with my back up quarterbacks including how the game plan would change should they come in the game. It appears that al Borges doesn't believe in adjusting to what his players do best instead just sticking to what he likes. Honestly I would have started Bellomy off with two simple power type handoffs down inside the ten and then go 5 wide to see the field and throw a quick slant. After halftime I would have started him out with a swing pass or two, a screen, a bubble. The main thing is giving him confidence. Also fitz was doing nothing so bring in Rawls and pound the rock to try for 3rd and short or at least get someone else for the defense to worry about. A young quarterbacks best friend is a running game and a tight end. Running east and west with a non mobile quarterback is beyond retarded. Borges set Bellomy up for failure, and in return failure, is what he got. Going forward something has to give with the play calling. Every single week that we have played a team with a legit defense we have watched as our offense goes east and west for a yard at best on first down putting us behind the chains on almost every drive. There has to be more to this offense. I don't see any mis direction, any counter, or anything to get us ahead in down and distance on first down. You can't tell me he doesn't know any better bc he did coach that auburn team that went 13-0 and he used a bruising running game and all sorts of misdirection and opened up the passing game downfield. I'm very frustrated because as an offensive coordinator you're supposed to prepare for everything and be able to adapt. He really should take heat for this loss and how we've looked against solid defenses.
