Moe was 6/7 from the field.

Best thing we saw was the shot fake and dribble-drive for the layup.  That's going to be critical against State.

This team is different from past JB teams in several ways, good and bad.

The good:

- Depth. On a day like today when the refs have quick whistles, it's comforting to have a strong, deep bench. Teske is so vastly improved, and like most here I think Poole and Livers are an upgrade when they enter. Both Matthews and Wagner were saddled with early fouls, and this year it isn't devastating.

- Youth. Livers, Poole, Teske. Future looks bright, and I think JB will start giving the young guys more minutes heading toward tournament time. Look, he's a genius at player development; I trust he has a plan and a program that works for these young guys.

- Athleticism. Nice to watch some exciting athletes like Matthews and Livers, and Teske brings a real inside presence that's been lacking. 

- Defense. Still not stellar, but markedly improved this year. There were key moments in this game where we really worked hard on D, and forced poor shots and turnovers. Nice to see.

The bad:

- Poor free throw shooting. Never thought I'd say that about a Beilein team.

- Ball handling/turnovers. Again, very surprising in a Beilein team. For the first time in his tenure, I feel nervous when teams apply a press. I hope the younger guys can improve their handle/court vision/spacing. 

They're fun to watch, and continue to improve.  It's a fun season so far, and will get even better. Go Blue!

Didn’t see much of the first half so obviously I had a positive experience with this game. From what I saw today, we’ve got ourselves a fun team! That was a solid finish and win and I can’t wait to see how this season plays out! GO BLUE!!

So I guess we don’t fire Beilein now he is the greatest....until off course we lose another game then he can’t recruit because he sucks at scheduling. GO BLUE !! HAIL BEILEIN!!
