Thats it. Lowell just straight up beat us. 2-1 final

Might have been a different result if di Giuseppe hadn't taken a stupid major penalty.

That's probably the best I've seen Michigan play in a loss in quite awhile.
UML's first goal was a crappy one to give up. And if PDG didn't have a major brain fart, Michigan may have won this game or tied at worst.
1-2 loss to a team that was preseason #1, in the Frozen Four last year. Not gonna complain.
Kind of unrealistic to expect Michigan to run the HEA gauntlet of BC-UNH-BU-UML and come out perfect.
Just pound tech next weekend.

After watching the highlights on mgoblue, still looked like we had a ton of great chances like we had against BU last night, we just couldnt squeak out the win in this one. Sounded like we still played just fine against what should be/might be a good team.
Considering how tough the first 6 games were on paper, coming out 4-1-1 is a very very good start

Their goaltender played very well. We were a bit bad at screening him, that's a thing for the forwards to work on.

we just didn't have it last night. There were many missed passes and opportunities. I lost track of how many missed one timers we had with an open net with passes that sailed right by the receipient. The team looked sluggish compared to the previous night against BU. Oh well. the team will regroup and look to pound Tech next weekend.
