but considering some of these are based off of number of plays and not game-wide stats the sample size will vary based on each category.

either way your sample size holds statement is correct.. but in the jest of "whats wrong with america" blindly classifying them all as N=2 is over simplifying it

103rd? How many times has Michigan punted? I mean Kenny Allen dropped a punt, so that's a negative result. Michigan started like five to seven drives in UCF territory on Saturday. And Michigan may have punted once against Hawaii. When you score 114 points in two games and your problem is a droppped snap on a rare punt in week 2, I think this stat is slightly misleading or irrelevant.

Mr. Manuel,

Please pay Coach Drevno and Coach Fisch a handsome sum that keeps them both at Michigan for the next 5 years.  Give them comparable titles similar to Assistant Head Coach or the like.  Allow the Three Amigos to concuct wizadry and rain chaos upon the Big Ten and beyond.

I appreciate your immediate attention and prompt response.

Go Blue!

Sincerely,

Hater of the Staters

(Can someone with connections pass this along, please? Thanks)

Also #71 in TFLs allowed isn't concerning at this point. Based on the analysis of the UCF game, it looks like Harbaugh decided to run against stacked boxes once the game was in hand just to give the guys experience being out-manned at the LOS. So at least 2-3 of those TFLs were just Harbaugh messing around for fun to see what would happen.

Doesn't 10 seem pretty low for TFL's?  I would have guessed that they have 7-8 in the last game alone.  The defense was living in the UCF backfield for much of the game.

MGoBlue shows that Michigan has 7 team sacks for the season.  I would guess that at least that many running plays ended up in the backfield as well.  Where can we get official TFL stats?
