I know that we won the Big Ten, and I also know that we stumbled a little more than usual this year. How do our postseason chances look? Are we heating up at the right time possibly?

on that.  It all depends on which regional we play in.  We have been hitting very well lately.  Lexy Moore is just a freshman but she is very good.  It looks like we are hitting out stride at the right time.

I like our chances against Tennessee.  I watched them once in Knoxville this year.  We can beat them.  Louisville is a different story.  Louisville beat us on 10MAR 2-1.  Haylie kept them in check and the offense was terrible.

We can beat Louisville in a best of 3 series.

It's intriguing to me, that when excellent news is broken about one of our varsity teams, almost invariably, someone, somewhere will downvote the thread. We are all Michigan Wolverines, so that person is (or indeed, those people are) aware.

Having said that, congratulations to our softball team. Awesome achievement!

Time to paint another year under Big Ten Champions on the scoreboard! Really awesome to see the seniors leave the field for the last time with the B1G trophy.

Rebuilding years when you win an undisputed Big Ten Championship are the best kind of rebuilding years.

Also, I was finally able to make it to Alumni Field this weekend and caught all 3 games.  Haylie Wagner is a great young pitcher, maybe the next in the Nemitz/Taylor mold of Michigan greats.  What really stood out to me was the fact that she attacked every single batter, went up 0-1 or 0-2 in almost every pitch count, and kept the pressue on the hitters.  Also, she had some absolutely nasty off-speed stuff.  The program is in great hands for the years ahead!
