Michigan is the problem at Michigan

I'd say this game pretty much sets that in stone.

Clean house before the next coaching search happens.

Is it bad that enjoyed seeing Rich win this more than anything our team has done this year?

UM had it everything it needed in coach Rodriguez. An offensive minded coach for the offensive game of football that is played in the 21st century. And then we fired him because he wasn't a "Michigan Man". Simply put - we BLEW IT! And we will continue to pay a heavy price as long as this nostaligic and antiquated concept continues to dictate the conversation. God speed boys.

Step away from the bottle.  RR looks good now based on the shit storm we're in and a couple signature wins he's had at Arizona.  He wasn't fired because he wasn't a Michigan Man.  He was fired because we were getting destroyed in Big Ten play.

This revisionist history is getting out of hand.  It's easy to look back now and declare that we should have let it ride another year or two.  But based on the facts at the time (particularly after the Miss State disaster where his players flat out quit on him), he had to go.  He was owned by the rest of the Big Ten in his best years.

And it was slowly getting better as he was the coach. Of course he was losing games he had to rebuild the roster from scratch. It takes time. He would have been much better in year 4 and his resume going forward will continue to prove what a great coach he is. Keep watching!

Maybe one day you will admit how wrong you are about your version of history. RR could win a National Championship at Arizona and a lot of you fools will continue to think it just wouldn't have worked at Michigan. How do you people lie to yourselves so often? I don't understand.

Hoke's worst year here is still better that RR's best. People need to stop rewriting history. RR simply was not a good fit for the big ten.

Im happy for RR. That being said, he didnt fit at Michigan and should have been fired. This fanbase will never be satisfied as I recall the only coach in all our lifetimes that won a Natioanl Title was treated like shit in his final yr.
