The point spread released by vegas is not how much their experts think a team will win by. Initial point spread by vegas is set at a number their experts think they can get equal money bet on both sides from. The house can't lose if a game has equal amount of money on both sides. So if you do your homework, you can find advantages in many areas, especially small conferences bc vegas spends most of its resources paying attention to the power 5.

The initial line for the game next weekend is Wisconsin -10. Now the line has dropped to -7.5 bc there has been a lot of money wagered on Michigan forcing oddsmakers to lower the spread in hopes of getting some bets on the badgers. Harbaugh has only lost badly twice in his Michigan career. Every other game has Brenda used by 7 points or less. So as soon as I noticed the line came out at +10, I bought a half point and bet Michigan. If the line drops below 6 I may put something small on Wisconsin and try to hit both sides.

My initial bet may be stupid though bc I did so without knowing the injury status of our key defensive players. I took a little bit of a chance bc this season is going very well for me so I said fuck it.

Just thank god we aren't favored. We got the ingrediants for it, now we gotta figure out how in the world Dantonio hypes up his team for these underdog-in-big-game wins.

Our D is designed for the this, especially with the emergence of Solomon. I’m expecting a lot of different formations on offense in order to create match up problems. I think Peters` connects on a couple of deep balls early...call me a homer, but Wisconsin doesn’t concern me at all.

Michigan owns Wisconsin.  Never fear the Badger!

"The wolverine and the badger are furry and stocky mammals from the Mustelidae (Weasel) family. They are nocturnal species found in wintry districts. The wolverine, also known as the skunk bear, devil bear, carcajou, and glutton, live in the isolated North, particularly in Alaska, Siberia, Scandinavia, Russia, Baltic countries, Northern regions of Canada, China, and Mongolia. On the other hand, the badger, also referred to as the brock, resides in North America, Ireland, Great Britain, Southern Scandinavia, Eastern Japan, and China. Although both species are well geared to survive extremely cold climates, some physical variations between the two are apparent.

The wolverine, being the largest terrestrial mustelid, is more muscular and can weigh up to 80 pounds with a length of up to 36 inches. It can resemble a bear. Its fur is thicker, oilier, and more highly hydrophobic, making it resistant to water and frost. The badger, however, is hardly half the wolverine’s mass at 15-30 pounds, with a length of up to 30 inches. A badger’s fur is less resilient to frost, but this animal has devised an underground habitat called a sett to increase its survival from the cold."

$10 tickets from a smashed UW undergrad at the Big Ten Bar. No one back for a UW with 1 min left and a punt off a Badger leg.

It's time for UM to get a lucky bounce and win a close road game.

We win ....

M   24      W  17

We have a better defense.   If we can avoid turnovers (not more than 1) and can have a couple bounces go our way I truly believe we can win this one.  I honestly think we are the better team.  Ohio St game is iffy (and I know we ALL want(ed) to win that one) but I do feel we can beat this Wisconsin team.

Regardless, I am glad our future QB is getting much needed real game time experience to carry him into next year.  Lots of injuries but we have been doing alright.  I hope a few get healthy before this game if possible to help us out.

Game to win. I think we do not match up well with OSU and have less of a chance to win that game than this one.

If we don’t win this, I feel we will be three years into the JJ era without pulling off a significant upset.

What makes one say we need a new coach at any position? Last year our receivers on the outside and the tight end all went pro. So please, enlighten me on how you’re pre-qualified to Judge our WR corps and why you feel we need a coach at that position. I’d love to hear your qualifications and how and why you just threw this ();: out against our staff.

You're neglecting one factor in the success of freshmen WRs.

Lewerke is the fifth-best QB in the conference, completing just a hair less than 60% for 2338 yds and 16 TDs.

Our three QBs have thrown for a combined 56% for 1652 yds and just 8 TDs.

This isn't to say our young WRs have been sparkling, but it helps to have a quarterback who can get them the damn ball.

bullshit...there is NO reason for us to have lost to MSU except coaching error. Calling for multiple passing plays in the rain when our run game was working was idiotic. And frankly, think of all the players MSU lost last year and the strides they made this year with less heralded players.

At some point, the coaches need to adapt to the players they have and we did NOT do that early in the season.
