I DIG the 'every snap' videos. You rock.

Check out the run at the 6:03 mark. Toussiants get spun around and lands on the defender and stops. Pretty sure when I saw the replays live he never touched the ground. I think he gets himself a sportscenter TD if he follows thru with the run. I don't hear a whistle I think the refs just rolled with it when everyone stopped.

First time I saw the run I thought the same thing. If you watch the replay of it his knee does just touch as he's getting spun to the ground. He was down.

I see Denard running out of bounds at the end of plays a bit more this year so far (at the end of runs when he clearly is beyond 1st down marker). I think this is good, but wonder if anyone else sees the same thing?

For what it's worth, I count 11 "direct hits" on Denard (a couple on the same play), ie a defender with an exposed shot, not just twisting him down from behind. Don't know how this compares to last year, but might be worth keeping track of as the year goes on.

check out 2nd quarter, starting at about 5:59 remaining. Denard runs a sweep and has THREE blockers leading him. Shaw is kinda the lead, and there is ONE Eastern LB knifing in. As the lead blocker, Shaw should have cut him down or got in the way, but he just runs past the guy. Result: Denard gets cut, two yard loss, and the convoy of three blocks NOBODY. Shouldn't the lead guy just block the first threat? Sheesh.
Fitz looks like a great combo of strength and speed, but Vince had a terrific game. Say what you want, but the guy has great vision. Maybe not the fastest 40, but enough quickness through the hole or to the edge. After watching "Every Snap", I was more impressed with his day. He made some guys miss, too, and broke a few tackles.

Post the same thing on Smith. He doesn't miss the open hole, he sees it and goes, makes one cut if he has to and goes upfield. Very quick, also very good when he baits the defender into thinking he's going one way then goes the other with a cut. Wish he was a bit faster straight line though. Definitely deserves the start.

This is great, especially since I wasn't able to watch the game last week. Great work. Boy, did we run the hell out of Denard. I'm starting to think that since it was Eastern, the coaches didn't want to show off a lot of the playbook and since every B1G team knows that we love to run the QB, we weren't doing them a lot of favors with scouting. Just my take on it.

as opposed to last year? It seems to me they are a little more frequent this year, though I might be mis-remembering last year.
