Michigan NCAA Tournament Game 1 (and evening games) Open Thread

There IS a Liveblog on the front page...but I have a hard time getting messages sent on my tablet/mobile there, so this is an alternative. Game 1 of hopefully 6, a new season truly begins tonight. This is what people will remember, and anything else can be put behind us. Enjoy every game we have left with Burke. Go Blue!

You can only get lucky with threes for so long. Jesus it's amazing how bad everyone but Burke is a driving to the hoop. Don't get me started on big men getting position because they can't do that either.

Please cheer or something. The SDSU fans are louder and there's only like 60 of us students here and we were put up in the upper level. We hardly have a home court advantage right now.

When the game is out of control. Not when you are letting a team build confidence that they can beat you. Frustrating. Come on coach wake the fuck up!.

This team just can't do anything but struggle. As predicted, this will be a lame, single digit win, if we're lucky...and another 1-1 tournament run for Beilein.

Appeared all season, they are doing a great job on the ball and w help. Of course we don't really do anything other run around and initiate offense 25 ft from the basket.

I do not understand putting Spike, Horford, and Levert on the floor at the same time. Especially when we're already struggling to score. I can't recall Levert making a shot this month.

I think putting spike in was the right move at the time - we were not moving the ball at all. 2 of the last 3 possessions we have done much better.

No transition opportunities.   Sucks.   We thrived in transition earlier in the year, but that part of our game has suffered.   We should be able to run on these guys.
