My U of M source says Big Ten has plans to move Maryland game to noon Saturday (not 8pm) and will make final decision by tomorrow evening.

Rocky my comment was directed to Olaf as I was agreeing with your sentiment, apologies as it seems to have come across incorrectly.

Rocky, no worries as my lack of clarity caused this misunderstanding. I need to proof my comments a little better in the future.

Personal shots stopped bothering me in junior high school.
I plan my work and class schedule around Michigan Athletics.
And I'm doing awesome in life. 3.0 GPA, am buying a car that is not a 2002 Chevy Prizm soon.

Unless your plans are a funeral or something what the hell else could you have planned that you can't change with a couple days notice.

I'll wait for the official word, of course, but fortunately this is probably one of the few weekends in the fall where there is almost nothing significant going on for all of Saturday, so even if I have to roll out of bed, have the obligatory pot of coffee and watch a game, it doesn't blow up the entire day. Most noon kicks, while doable, are kind of burdensome if you have a family and the associated "to do" lists, I find.

If you have kids, noon games are death. There are always kid activities at noon on a Saturday.

All of the professional games are getting moved around.
They're likely talking with the B1G tonight and if it happens, there will be an announcement tomorrow.

because it was at night. sons' football games all over creation throughout the day, haven't seen a game since utah.
hurricane, hurricane, go away
come again another day (like, sunday)

This sucks because I volunteered to do an audit at work knowing that I could get a full 8-hours of overtime in and still have time to eat dinner and put the kids to bed before the game started. If they do move it to noon, it will mess with my whole day. Someone better be on their A-game at tenyardtorrents and get this up quick...Stupid hurricane.

I don't expect them to, but that would be badass if they worked things around my schedule. My point was that I had a well-planned out day that involves things I cannot back out of and thus I will miss the whole game if it's moved to noon. That's it. However, I upvoted you anyway...

... Take Rutgers as well.

if the game is moved to noon (9am my time btw), will the BTN even show it on TV?
Or will they do that bullshit BT to Go crap? That's what they did to the Illini game that was weather delayed earlier this year.

I didn't mean to sound like that, you know what I meant, I just wanna see my boys on my big TV live, I'm very selfish like that.
Taking my GF to a concert at the House of Blues the night before, was hoping to sleep in but fuck it, this is M football and I'll manage.

The B1G is a Midwest league where are supposed to not have to worry about a hurricane having an impact on game time

If there's a chance the hurricane can impact the game, I would say either move the game or play it Friday night.
P.S. Noon games suck.

That is a 3:30 game. I. Need. 3:30. Games.
September 30th, 2015 at 10:30 PM ^
Next weekend is a 3:30 game. The game after will probably be one as well. After that is a night game.
If I had to guess, we'll get three more noon games: vs Rutgers, at Indiana, The Game.
