Why does it surprise you DB is there to the point that there should be a reason or an ulterior motive? Were you just be snarky? The fact he goes to a lot of sporting events shows he loves UM, (or he's investigating new ways for profits at these events.....) and not just obsessed with being the football coach like so many want to believe.

Benedetti is having a nice freshman season. He's now batting .310 and has knocked in 18 runs. Could be in line for the Big Ten all-freshman team.

For those who haven't been following, Nebraska took the first two games of this weekend's series. Michigan is now 9-9 in the Big Ten, tied for fifth. It's unlikely that the Wolverines finish in the top three, so it might actually be better for them to finish 6th or 7th (rather than 4th or 5th) and not be in the initial four-team bracket with Indiana in the conference tournament.
