Sources: There have been preliminary discussions about moving the Michigan-Florida season opener at AT&T Stadium to Sunday, Sept. 3. Both schools still must sign off on the date change. The game is currently set for Saturday, Sept. 2.

too see what the nuked posts say.

On topic - I do not see what the big deal is about the change.  Unlesss someone perhaps a bit overly involved with a certain team (or just not a complete procrastinator like yours truly) and has already booked a trip for said game that this would affect.

If this was in the Big House, I would be furious.  But it's not.  It's in a venue that has no "tradition" for college football anyway, save for whatever "tradition" Jerry Jones can buy.

AFAIC, the game represents "selling out" anyway; Saturday or Sunday is only a matter of extent.  If Michigan gets some great exposure, a solid win, money for the program, and it happens to be on Sunday, more power to them.  It's just the way things are done nowadays.

This whole WD took down Brandon thing is pathetic. People weren't protesting on Schlissels lawn because of the letter WD posted, there were plenty of emails from Brandon out there with similar attitudes. The protest started because of the way Shane Morris's concussion was handled, but don't let me stop you from worshipping the kid.
