That seems to be the Harbaugh strategy with recruiting. Crazy Jim seems to be offering every kid in the country to see who commits, then as NSD approaches go down the list and Dump the players he doesn't want a few days before NSD. This is exactly what he did at Stanford and now at UM. In the end it's not necessarily a bad strategy, I mean it certainly is unfair to the kids who get dumped, but those same kids won't think twice about dumping the school if they see greener pastures.
