Michigan closer to getting Darian Cooper?

Submitted by BLUEnTAYLORED on December 27th, 2010 at 1:55 AM

Theres a rivals article that says something about Darian Cooper talking to RR and that he now has Michigan higher than previously. Obviously this couldn't have happened recently due to the silent period unless he called RR. But it seems the news is getting increasingly positive for him and we sure could use him!

Anyone with a rivals account care to summarize?

Sorry if this is not news. Im taylored.

quote from the article:

"Coach Rodriguez called me just a few days ago," Cooper reported. "It was kind of a brief conversation - he was getting ready for the bowl game. He wished me a Merry Christmas, and on Jan. 31 they should know everything."

#1) recruiting violation?

#2) do we seriously have to wait another month!?

Taylor Gang is Wiz Khalifa's music group. The word "Taylor" comes from Wiz's high school Taylor Allderdice HS in Pittsburgh. It's a lot of his friends from high school and also Curren$ey, who used to be part of Lil' Wayne's Young Money, but left to be part of Taylor Gang.

And that's your hip hop fun fact of the day.

There were a couple threads about that he did not drop um completely, just wants to know what's going to happen with the coaching situation. I believe the gossipy was that he really likes Michigan, but he also likes to know who the coach he will be playing for is.

Rodriguez in...... I'm interested

Rodriguez out......not so much

One interesting thing is that he used the word tutelage. I believe that is a 50 center so I think he would qualify for most schools.

Word on the street is that were recruiting Darian and then after Barwis gets his hands on him, we're going to change his position to corner.  This is due to the lack of recruiting in the secondary.
