win. My strong feeling is that there might be a silver lining in Zack's tough stretch--some other guys got worked into the offensive mix. Might make us that much stronger down the stretch.

Zack is a great interview by the way; like Derek, he is a very bright, very well spoken guy.

I recognize that about Irvin, but he still should be on the bench more. Two of his best plays tonight - the 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down and the assist to Wsgner from under the basket - were more luck and desperation than they were skill. But it occurs to me that I'm doing the posbang thing wrong, so...

Great game Mo and Derek! We're going exactly as far as these two take us, and it depends more on Derek than Mo.

are very good defenders and MAAR is close when they're focused.  DWJ has stepped it up big time recently.  Our 5s are terrible and Robinson is terrible, but can't win them all.

We've gone from 180th in the country in defense to 101st in just the last eight games, which is means we've been top 25ish in that span.  We're a good defensive team when playing hard.

and we may start to get some top-20 consideration down the stretch. This team is coming into its own at the right time. Hope that the doubters can take a sober look and recognize that they were way over the top with some of the negative stuff. Those who kept on believing. . . hats off to you.

but really, seeing them come into their own is all the glow factor needed. to just sustain this, & see it through -- the exponential growth curve has slowed down a bit, in this game (Walton) -- have to turn it into something calm & consistent, a confident competence, rather than waning...

Go effin Blue!  rounded corner firmly in the rear view mirror...

Yay! my heart is singing...

Happy Valentine's, MBB!! Muah! You rock!
