Michigan Bars/Watch Party in Pittsburgh?
I recently moved to Pittsburgh and would like to watch the game and partake in the St. Patty's Day celebration. Are there any pro Michigan bars or watch parties going on in Pittsburgh?
Feel free to use this thread as a dumping ground for bar requests in other cities.
Well, no party at my house, but there will be corned beef brisket and Michigan basketball, so there's that. That, and there's quite a bit of beer chilling on the back porch, so gas and beer and a very antisocial evening planned basically.
Fox and Hound in North Hilla used to be before it shut down. Don't know of any others. What part of the city do you live?
North Side, but I'm pretty willing to go to other parts of the city than the North Shore if there were other Wolverines there.

200 Children's Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Across the highway (279) from PNC Park. Close to the Children's Museum and Alleghany General Hospital.
The other location is the Smallman Galley in the Strip District (www.smallmangalley.org).
Have fun!

I live in the Pittsburgh area myself, and Federal Galley is really the only one that I am aware of. St. Patty's day dahntahn PGH is fun, but the South Side is a bit much for me these days. Plus I can't watch Michigan sports out at a bar. Get too riled up during games, and tend to yell things that would not go over well in a public setting haha. So, I just enjoy watching on the big screen from the comforts of home.

Wexford Ale House is owned by a UM Alumni.
Been there a few times...didn't know it was owned by an UM alum.
I thought that college basketball didn't exist in Pittsburg any longer.
cruel. :-)
