WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It was a really exciting game to watch too... a lot of ties and lead changes in the first 30 minutes of gametime.

DOOOOOOOOOOK

This team is a mystery to me, honestly.
I mean, they only have two losses, yes, but one was a loss to an average Maryland team, and the other was a blowout by Duke. On top of that, they barely squeaked by Savannah State (!?!) of all teams. And now Michigan hands Duke its first loss of the season, after upsetting UCLA earlier in the year.
Is there a word for this? Losing (or almost losing) and winning games you shouldn't?

Well to be fair, Maryland did blow lil bro into oblivion...

There is a word for this: consistency. When they get over that hump, then they will have a chance at greatness (they also need a deeper bench).

and there were many lead changes in the maryland game. we could've won that. as for the 1st duke game.. it was close early until they began to dominate. but at least we didn't let it happen twice in a month. hats off to the bball squad.

The blowout loss to Duke was hardly a shocker - Duke has blown out most of its opposition (including Purdue in West Lafayette). But, as in much of last season, we played better against them the second time around.
As for Maryland, that was a road game. It's hard to win on the road in college basketball. Heck, Duke learned that today.

Good?

That's what we mean by a program going in the right direction. We're going to have some great games, like today. We're also going to have the occasional Savannah State debacle. It's great to beat those Dukies, but we've got a ways to go. But it's nice to get excited about something, up here in central Michigan, other than having snow up to my ass.

Yeah, Edmore sucks. The town, not the poster. I can't say I am much better, growing up in the thriving metropolis of Rosebush.
Keep in mind folks, that we have played this well so far without Lucas-Perry, who is probably one of our top 3 players. (Behind Manny and Peedi of course).
I was very impressed with Grady in the second half today. I think we have a lot of firepower in that backcourt with Manny, Grady, LLP, and the freshman white boys.
I think we are a true big man away from being right there with the best teams in the Big 10. Too bad Ekpe left.

HUUUUUUUGE win! Congrats to Coach Beilein and the players. I would imagine that, as long as they go around .500 in conference, they have a good chance to make the NCAA tourney.
