Drinking arakku.
I will do the same thing I do every Father's Day: eat lunch at the old man's grave, and crack a beer in his memory
My daughter won't get me anything for Father's Day, but I'll forgive her since she's only 3 weeks old.
That summary next to the wolverine picture is informative, awesome, and inspiring. Father of 3 girls under 6 years old here. Drinking Coronado Brewing Company’s IPA...keep em coming (the beers, I mean)
Daughter and son. Named my son Bo. Drinking a Tripel Karmeliet and watching the Purdue at Michigan game on ESPNU (they're showing the top 20 CBB games of the season and it's 12th). I don't think I'll watch the end.
Two kids. One is now a proud M grad. The other just got married a week ago and is a Badger for grad school.
I had to take a trip overseas so the weekend is featuring a lot of Fuller's London Pride and Meantime London Pale Ale. Always nice to get over here but I envy you guys back home. There's something great and uncomplicated about a little Father's Day hammock time with a brisket or pork shoulder on the smoker.
Two! First in masters SEAS program and second is engineering frosh. So happy!
Well, given the forecast, the plan is to more or less hang out indoors on Sunday and watch movies and drink. As my family isn't really into my movies, it ensures that I will spend the day pretty much left alone. I can deal with that. I bought a goodly supply of Boddington's, Hofbrau Hefeweizen and a few others.
There are two potential future Wolverines in the house - my 11 year-old daughter and my 10 year-old son.
One little girl here (3 yo). Taking here to swimming and the circus today. Will probably have some bourbon or other single barrel tonight. Had Les Trois Mousquetaires 2017 Baltique Porter (aged in bourbon and brandy barrels). It was very good and I wish I had more! (highly recommended) Sunday I will go spend the day with my dad.
I've fathered 3 kids and every single one of them are Michigan fans. It's my 9-yr-old granddaughter, though, that seems to be the biggest Wolverines fan of all.
Not drinking right now, but last night when this thread went up I was enjoying Founders Centennial IPA at 5th 3rd Ballpark watching the West Michigan Whitecaps beat the Dayton Dragons 4-3. And tonight heading to Kalamazoo to enjoy beer, pizza, and a movie with my offspring.
In the meantime, I very much miss my own Dad. He's been gone 6 1/2 years now but he's always in my heart.
Happy Father's Day weekend to all the MGoDads and their MGoKids!
3 Kids; 2 Boys & 1 girl. Oldest boy going to be a HS senior.
Weekend baseball tournament in Alliance, OH for 13 year old son. Good chance to make the finals tomorrow.
Ole Smoky Lemon Drop Moonshine tonight.
Happy Fathers Day.
