So there are a lot of good posters on this board.  And I've always wondered, who is an ex-football player?  Who played on the basketball team?

Also - if you are a corporate CEO, I'd be interested in hearing about that too.

Let's see what kind of talent we have on MGoBlog.

Myself - I played on a non-revenue sport and graduated in 2001.  Currently in sales.

Self appointed captain of a drinking team.  Won a bowling league at Colonial Lanes.  Second place in the Touchdown's beer pong tournament once.  Got kicked out of an IM Softball Game for running over the catcher.  (It was my 21st birthday. I was basically blacked out already.  It was more like a tackle.  I was friends with him.  It was funny to everyone but the umpire.)

If you want an autograph, just ask a mod for my email address.

Well mo ther that was your team, huh?!

My IM team was running everyone one season and was pretty confident we'd win the league tourney. Then we played some team that clearly had ringers for that game, and their ringers were on fire the whole game. There was a stretch where I hit 4 or 5 threes in like 2 minutes, but when I looked at the scoreboard, we were losing my more somehow. Then that same team got blown out by like 30 in the finals after their ringers didn't show (against a team we'd handled during the regular season). I remember being pretty pissed about it at the time -- I really wanted a UM IM basketball champion t-shirt. I managed to later get one in the IM 3-point contest, which may have helped prevent the disappointment of the loss from screwing up the rest of my life and preventing me from becoming the baller I am today - I'm now Batman.

I'm the CEO of Touch the Banner, where all dreams go to . . . die.

Also, I play basketball twice a week with a bunch of 18- to 30-year-olds, so technically, I think that makes me baller.

I am absolutely a baller.  I own a 4 bedroom house (3 car garage) and I've been to Mexico twice this year.  I drive a Toyota Prius V (the big one) and my wife's minivan has (count 'em) three DVD screens.  I do CrossFit 5 times a week, except for this past week because I hurt my back.  My backyard has two umbrella tables, and a chiminea.  I have a 401(k) and two 529 plans.

I think that qualifies.

I am not sure how to answer this except I spent many years designing electric reliability projects in the Ann Arbor area, so while I credit myself with some successes, obviously the power still goes out in extreme conditions from time to time. Actually, sometimes it happens in not-so-extreme conditions, so I suppose it isn't a 100% success. Glad I rolled that track record into managing people who do that now.

I am also working my way up the amateur mod circuit, hoping one day to declare for the Mod Draft and go pro.
