meta: OT is out of control

people, these things are not OT: Six Degrees of Glenn Winston Harvard 74 - BC 67 Lamarcus Joyner to FSU MSU Assault ESPN Article "Mini-Me" is a Michigan fan They are also 5 of the last 10 things posted "OT" Anything directly or indirectly related to Michigan or the blog is on topic. Degrees of separation above: 1, 1, 1 of 2--OSU was a possible/likely Joyner destination--, 1, 0(!). Don't make me come over there.

I was thinking this might be a thread saying that OT topics were out of control--and I would not get any more great advice on whether to first wash my balls or my hair in the shower.

Is there any way we can re-focus your passive anger toward commenters who make fun of kids because they don't have enough stars? Talk to TomVH, he will likely fill you in on the siatuation. Also, this reminds me of the scene in Rushmore in which Bill Murray chokes one of his twin sons after his son tells him to "Get yer head outta yer ass." Awesome.

Maybe in the MGoFAQ there should be handy examples to new posters as to things that are OT and not OT. For example the list could include: Not OT: Anything Michigan Anything to do with Rivals Anything to do with anyone Michigan has played OT: Professional Sporting News that does not include UofM alum How you shower (wash your hair first or your body) Pretty much anything that doesn't have to deal with College football or Michigan in general.

I have a serious question. Is there an Mgoblog acronym/abbreviation dictionary? I figured out many of them, but there are a couple that I just don't get.
