So, Michigan apparently can’t take care of the ball and can’t really shoot, but they’re aggressively drawing fouls, cleaning up the paint — and Moe Wagner posted up a guy. What happened to Beilein-ball? :)

Drawing up baseline plays is actually difficult. Teams at that level are very good at defending them. I wonder if coaches nowadays punt baseline plays until bigger, more important games/possessions. Or at least stay very vanilla before rarely breaking out something new.

It is pretty crazy. A lot of times we are not the best defensively so it makes sense sometimes, but thus happens a lot where we play good defense and teams just hit shots no matter what

It's not bad defense either, Michigan is grinding CMU down to late in the shot clock and then they're making contested 3s.
