If you think he deserves negative feedback give him a down vote. Dozens of responses that provide nothing of value are pointless and wastes everyone's time combing through to find the one nugget of reasonable info.

I've never been a huge fan of the stickers either. Over the years, I've heard good arguments from different players and coaches for and against them. I like it on some other helmets but I prefer the winged-helmet left alone. Just personal preference.

Ferraris aren't involved in a contact sport that tests the combatants' physical mettle on each and every play. They're more for the ascot, champagne, and polo crowd. They look great, but don't touch them unless you've got the keys.
But the main thing for me is that what the helmets were when I was in school at UM back in the '70s and early '80s. The helmets look a bit empty to me without them. It's old school.

I agree Don! I became a fan in that same era and the stickers were always part of the uniform for me. I miss them and would like to see them come back.

Great analogy! I think they would look better if our helmet had straight lines instead of the wings because it would be easier to arrange them in a way that looked good.
