McNeal, Newsome, Boyd
Newsome and McNeal are visting PSU this weekend. It's very possible they'll go to the same school based on what they were saying/bragging at summer camp when both were Michigan commits.
Apparently Kiffin pulled Boyd's Tenn. offer because he didn't fit the new offensive scheme. My question, why? Guy is a good athlete/QB, he'll fit in somewhere.

He runs a Pro Style offense, and there's a rumor he's already going to pull in the QB he wants. Tajh Boyd is a good athlete, but he will play quarterback in a spread offense. I think it's a great move. Why waste the kids time, and yours, possibly risk a transfer in the future, it's not worth it.

FWIW Oregon is making a big push now for McNeal. It's been in the Oregon newspapers that they are going to be pushing hard for his services as well. So the ducks might be in it.

If they were to pick up Boyd then he definitely redshirts and I would think that may increase our chances at an 2010 QB prospect if they are looking at both Michigan & OSU. But then again who knows, USC seems to have no problem reeling in 4* & 5* commits who sit the bench for 3 years and then have one good year before being a 1st round NFL pick.

Is still considering us although I wouldn't give it more than a 30-40% chance at best he recommits. Fingers crossed for "snake oil". I definitely wouldn't be sad about our WR's in 2010 being Hemingway, Stonum, McNeal, Ricardo Miller, and Jermey Jackson.

I'm sure they will both be having a big impact as well.

Outside receivers. Of course the might midgets in the slot will be good with Odoms, Gallon, T-Rob, maybe McGuffie?, and Vincent Smith.
