Gun to your head, if you had to pick one, who would you say is less annoying?

King! McFarlin with a steel chair to the head of Mahorn!!! Seriously, I take Mahorn as less annoying. McFarlin's posts end up being 90-post discussions about sexual orientation and momma jokes. I actually smile when I see McFarlin has posted. Mahorn's not at that level yet.

Mahorn. Hands down less annoying. Spelling is horrendous, but that's pretty minor, really. I don't like the "stinktons" comment, especially from a guy named mahorn, but he's much more tolerable. Also, he has posts that are interesting. McFarlin hasn't typed a single character worth my time.

After watching Deadliest Warrior last night, I say they have a match till the death with the winner allowed to stay on mgoblog. Is that an aboverage idea or what?

We set up a new part of Mgoblog, lets say www.mgoblog.com/thunderdome. People are nominated to go into the thunderdome, and after 2 posters have reached a certain number of minimum nominations, both of them have a week in thunderdome to plead their case and argue their superiority over the other poster. At the end of the week we all vote, one handle is permabanned, the other cannot be nominated to go back into thunderdome for a period of time, lets say 6 months to a year. Mgoblog/Thunderdome, 2 men enter, one man leaves, FOREVER!

Tough call. In McFarlin's corner we have things like: "Why did Mike Hart get drafted so late? I have always kind of wondered why he got drafted so late. He set Michigan's all time rush record and was an absolute beast for us. 6th round is awfully late. I think the Colts got a steal because he is going to do great things there." "I'm not understanding RR and his recruits. In 2008 all his recruits for the most part were smaller guys with a couple exceptions. Now as the 2009 class starts to take shape, all the guys are way taller and seem more like typical pro set style guys. The only exception would be Tony Drake. Why are we pretty much recruiting the reverse type of guy that we recruited in 2008? It doesn't make sense. Why can't we just have high profile players?" And the famous "Michigan could go 12-0 this year." thread. From R_mahorn1974 we have gems like: "During t.v timeouts, its always silent waiting for the game to begin again. Why not have a 'Fan Cam' like all pistons and all other teams that do this......Also, have the cheerleaders or students go around the stadium shooting up michigan t-shirts to the people who are the loudest. Or give away free pizzas around the stadium to the fans who are the loudest." "Can 2009 team be a 2006 team? For those who didnt know, we started the 2006 season 11-0. So you may be thinking, NO WAY can this happen. But, did you know that 2006 team was supposed to be 5th in the CONFERENCE? Noone expected to start 11-0." And in reference to Paulus potentially coming to Michigan: "A good comparison could be Matt Mauck. The LSU QB from the National Champion 2003 team. Graduated HS in 1997, took a few years off because he played minor league baseball. Came back to school and few years later he won a National title(2003). But, it did take him 3 football seasons to win the national title. Then, think Leak/Tebow. Leak the senior(paulus), with a QB everyone would rather see, Tebow(forcier)."

....makes me retch with laughter. Mike Hart, whose knee was shredded last year and whose team drafted a running back in the first round, will "do great things" at Indy. I love him, but really, the writing's on the wall. Great stuff McFarlin.

Has there been a call to have these people removed from the Blog? Is that even possible? I mean I haven't seen any of their posts nor can say I have a side on this issue, but would that be a correct course of action?
