MBB vs. Purdue

Talk about the game, etc. I'm sitting at home doing math homework and watching the game. Distract me, talk about how small we are, praise Air Canada, and the like.

a bucket. What happened? I guess that's the reason he left AZ. I thought with him practicing with the team, that he would be in rhythm. Maybe next year?

I swear there HAS to be a conspiracy in the B10 against Manny Harris. The kid gets manhandled every game and gets next-to-no calls. He tries so hard and gets nothing for it. It's gotta wear on him. Meanwhile, every ref in the nation sucks Hansbrough's cock every game to the tune of at least 10 FT attempts...a lot on bullshit calls. It's disgusting watching a UNC game on ESPN, nothing but a Hansbrough-lovefest.

Shep can be a quality scorer inside for us if given the chance. He's a good finisher in the paint, we just have to find looks for him. We'd have a nice lead if we could shoot a decent percentage from trey land.

if michigan wasn't playing i would call this game the most boring basketball game ever, since they are it's just one of the most boring basketball games ever. we're not going to hit 30 before the half

Yeah baby! Way to turn that half around Blue!!! Need to keep the intensity up and cut back on the turnovers next half, but given the half Manny had and the fact that we have a lead, you gotta love the result so far.

Not looking ahead or anything, but a commentator just mentioned what a great job Beilein was doing this year. It kinda made me realize that this game is on National TV and thus we'll be getting some good recognition from it. A win on national TV on the road is a pretty good way to stop the bleeding and build a resume. Heck, even keeping it close is important. Can you imagine if the OSU game or the PSU game was on National TV? *shudders*

Fucking bull shit. Unbelievable. You can't eject a player for that. Fucking ridiculous. A play that happens 30x a game is suddenly a flagrant foul?! It was an accident that deserved a foul, and that's it. Ridiculous.

I can't believe this. He tried to clear space and hit the guy in the face by accident . . . okay, that's a foul. But an EJECTION? Shouldn't there have to be malicious intent?

He caught the ball with his back to the basket, pivoted and swung the ball high, hitting his defender in the face. The Purdue guy got a bloody nose and temporarily went to the locker room (he's now back). It was an accident and should have treated as such - an offensive foul and nothing more.
