Smotrycz and Hardaway are going to be the next big studs on the team. Both already play like sophomores. Evan can't miss right now and he's supplementing his hot shooting with solid rebounding (solid by our standards, at least).

I can't believe I'm stuck writing a giant final paper right now instead of watching this game.  Keep up the updates, comrades, it makes for great reading when my short attention span for writing runs out & I need a quick break!

I like Jon Horford.  He's way undersized, but he seems to make a lot of nice hustle plays - and he's not afraid to throw that body around.

I remember listening to an MGoPodcast with Tim in which he said this team might surprise people because the style of play Beilen prefers didn't mesh with the skills of Manny, especially defensively.  After catching this first half, this team looks lightyears better than at any time last year, so maybe there is some truth to the idea this team could compete for an NIT bid.

This team is going to be really, really good in 2 years. I mean, Top 10 good. Only guys who graduate after next season are Novak (SAD FACE) and Douglas (not so upset). A 2012-13 starting five of Morris, Hardaway, Metrics, Morgan, and Brundrige(????) plus a couple of other 4-star prospects.

I'm excited.

About the team so far, I think, is Morris. He looks great, like a different player from last year. Bodes well not only for his future but for coach b's talent development skills. If only a couple ofnthe freshman can make a Morris like improvement by next year we are going to be pretty good.

They just spent an entire segment breaking down the MSU-Duke game and didn't spend one minute discussing the game that people are actually tuned in to watch.

I understand that MSU-Duke is probably the biggest game of the season so far, but is it to much to ask for them to spend two minutes pretending to care about the Michigan-Clemson game?
