I bet this has something to do with the new menu for the football team next year. I hear they're adding jelly to the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Another sign that Harbaugh and staff can adapt to change ;)

Thread jack as it's not worthy of its own post anyway: James Yoder is at it again.

He misinterpreted a Kahlil Branham tweet as a decommitment. Branham basically told him to go away. Yoder responded by blaming MGoBlog for sharing bad info.

Anyway, just the latest confirmation that he's a giant bag of crap.

They tell the corniest most nonsensical "jokes" and think they are the funniest things they have ever heard. The most comical thing about it is their reaction to these stupid jokes. It's understandable relative to their narrow, uninformed world knowledge and view...but it's kind of sad too.

Should be interesting to see what develops.  I am now over Mattison and didn't have to get over Washington as it sounds like he was by definition a short term guy.

Both were recruiting Harrison and now all 3 are at OSU.... there might be a story there, but I doubt it gets revealed any time soon.

Temple has moved on from DB. They wouldn’t be interviewing other people if they felt like he was their man. It’s not an indictment on Brown. They just seem to want a young on the rise coach. I don’t think Dudek would tweet good news is coming based on DB staying. I think this is something else. It could be recruiting related, but Harbaugh wasn’t blind sided by Mattison or Washington and I guarantee he already has someone else lined up. Someone tweeted that Day was playing Chess and Harbaugh was playing checkers. Bullshit. Harbaugh brought the chess board to the Big Ten and he knew his next move before either of those guys even interviewed with OSU.

Seriously? That's not at all what I said. I never once mentioned that he would be upgrading. I said he wasn't blind-sided. Hell, there was a post on here last week about Al Washington potentially leaving and Bucknuts insiders were mentioning Mattison to OSU last Thursday. If it's posted on here, I promise you Harbaugh already knows about it and already has a plan for it. Harbaugh has coached with a lot of different people and he has a lot of connections in football. I guarantee he already has a short list of people that he's interested in interviewing for a spot on his staff.

I'm personally hoping against hope for Mike Elston.  Would be a slam dunk hire for defensive line.  He is the assistant head coach at Notre Dame.  Well Pep is ours so hopefully that will work itself out and at worst it becomes a lateral move back to the alma mater.  I just watched his defensive line against Clemson again and wow.  The line actually got quite a bit of pressure on Lawrence and forced Clemson to adjust by avoiding taking the ball up the middle against them and getting the ball out quickly and/or to the perimeter.  That is the same offensive line that just dominated Alabama.  And he's an ace recruiter, and he's an alum.  Pretty please can the football gods not crap on my parade for once?
