it was a little late. Good luck to him, I don't see Purdue as much of a threat anyways.
Purdue with Justin Siller scared me more than Purdue with Robert Marve.
i guess everyone just kind of didn't care about it.
the ability of a Robert Marve is insignificant next to the power of Forcier
Marve need to mature. A change of settings along with him having to sit out a year should bode well with his maturity.
His maturation should improve his play. However, I (in my infinite wisdom) don't see him becoming any better than adequate. A Boeckman type of player.
With the Miami swagger of the '80s. Unfortunately for him, It only showed up off the field. however, He never could settle into the QB position when he had a blue chip back up and a coach who preferred to bench him rather then let him work through a mistake.
He was arrested twice I believe, so a change of scenery (from Miami to Purdue) should help him out, I hope. The kid blasted all of Tim Tebow's records his senior year of high school and he fits Purdue's scheme perfectly. I don't see him becoming the player a lot of people thought he'd be coming out but he could be solid.
I really don't like Marve as a person, but he has alot of potential at the QB position. This actually scares me a little. The typical knock on Purdont is that they are soft. Marve plays the QB position like a RB. I am hoping he won't make them a contender.
You know him personally? Purdue getting a failed Miami (yes that Miami) qb scares you? Purdue's knock is that they are soft, not that they just have no talent? You are right, he throws like a RB. I 100% promise you that Marve is not going to make Purdue a contender, you can sleep at night now.
I think he means they are reluctant to start helmet-swinging, crutch wielding massacres mid-game. This has always been the knock on Purdue.
I thought he was referring to Tiller's mustache. My bad.
Everyone knows that if there was an IIU, Purdue would be having more massacres than bowl games. Which I guess wouldn't be that many anyway..
Totally agree. The only thing you have to worry about is whether or not Purdue will be the best Big Ten team in Indiana, and they have their work cut out for them.
I don't see Purdue as being a threat at all for quite a while.
1) Have you seen him play? He has game.
2) No, I do not know him personally. I can assure you that he is a bad person. Along with allegations of rape and assault, he is one cocky son of a bitch.
"No, I do not know him personally. I can assure you that he is a bad person."
I'm sold.
