Mark Schlabaugh's comment on "The Experts"

Submitted by CarlisleWolverine on

Mark Schlabaugh today, when talking about the ND/UM game said, "A Michigan loss puts them further behind than they were last year, rember 4-0?"  Then they start talking about ND winning 10 games and going to the Orange Bowl!"  Someone said it in an earlier post, and I will paraphrase, but the longer we stay low profile this season, the better things we'll be.   Maybe they should rebrand the show "The idiots".

Orange Bowl?!   It makes more sense staing that they'll be lucky to go to a bowl with a winning record.  Logically they have a shot at 8 wins, maybe 9 if they're lucky, but they're in for a rude awakening this Saturday.  I think our offense is gonna bring down their house in a hurry.  GO BLUE!!

Mark Schlabach is an idiot.  He not only picked Uconn, but I remember somewhere that he kind of mocked us.  So did the clown pony Craig James.

I'm totally fine with us making "experts" look stupid. We probably won't earn much respect after the ND game, and after that, will have three more "gimme" wins that will do nothing to change most of these "experts" predictions.  Michigan will have their chance to prove them wrong during the MSU, Iowa, PSU run.  But until then, let them keep underestimating us.  Keep the team hungry and working hard to win each week. If we keep winning, eventually they will have* to admit they were wrong.

*With the exception of Herbstreit this week, I have a hard time believing that any of the experts feel like they have to admit they were wrong

I am sorry I dont remember what he and James said.  There were so many people that picked against us for UConn.  At least, Herbie said he was concerned about the defense and afterwards, he manned up and said that the D looked pretty good.  I just remember Schlabach and James was downright disrespectful.  These guys are worse than Cowherd, and that is bad.

That show the experts is the same show that said Nick Sheridan was still on the roster and that Denard Robinson was a safety out of Georgia turned quarterback.  I've watched a couple of times and basically they talk about the same thing every time.  Alabama, Tuos, and the rest of the SEC.  There are more experts at Mgoblog then espn could ever dream of.  Sclabaugh is just another ill-informed ass hat that just reads the notes prepared for him by some espn researcher.  I'm surprised he knew we started 4-0 last year.

I caught part of this episode at lunch and watched the rest when I got home tonight.  I actually enjoyed this panel, aside from Schlabach, who incidentially, was very much treated as an outcast on this panel by the rest of panelists.  It was quite obvious that Schlabach was very much outmatched, both in terms of football smarts and actual experience in big time college football, by everyone else on the panel (who all played at a big time level).
