Marcus Ray Takes More Shots at Michigan

This is funny because he was on the B1G network the other day and was way more contrite. He picked them to blow out Maryland and said they showed a lot of grit to win at Northwestern. Someone else said this in the post, he is just trying to get mentions. He can't get a real job, so he has to flame to get attention. But guys, until we best MSU, Penn St, Wisconsin,  and OSU, these guys have the ammunition to fuel the flames, so don't let it get under your skin, because honestly, without the hot takes, it really is true. 

If it weren't for Charles Woodson, no one would even remember this man's Michigan career....would have been a slightly above average safety who came and went.  IF for even a second you think this man has any idea what hes talking about with the state of our program, remember this is the same dude whos football intelligence stated we should have hired Butch Jones over Harbaugh. 

Maybe Marcus had an “uncomittable” offer to OSU, so he settled for Michigan and got lucky to be on a team with Charles Woodson.  

But in the end, never lost his love for the old Scarlet and Grey.

Well, maybe Marcus Ray has a point. When you constantly cant get off of the field on third down and the plays are always for gashing gains in the big games, maybe you need to have a back up plan. I mean, come on here. How many times are we going to see these big gains on third and long that just kills the team. Soften things up a little. If the rushers aren't getting home and cant contain, you gotta do something a little different. 

I liked Marcus as a player but he is tarnishing his legacy by continuing to shoot off his mouth just like Braylon. I don't understand this trend with some of these players trying to cause a divide in the Michigan family being part of a team especially at this level I think you owe a little more to your ex teammates and coaches than this, be a Michigan man

This is fine.  Marcus is entitled to his opinion the same as anyone else.

But when Michigan finally gets over the hump and beats OSU or wins the Big Ten, I don’t want to see Marcus there celebrating as if supported the team all the while.

Doesn't make me mad. Don't care what the guy thinks 

The first rule of sports radio is don’t let them make you feel anything. Whether it’s anger, glee, sadness, whatever. They’re there to play to your basest instincts. Don’t let them win. 

Yeesh.  For a guy who should have a pulse on the program and football itself he sounds delusional.  Like, Michigan has issues and has for sometime but it isn't being outcoached and Don Brown sure as shit doesn't care about fancy stats.

Ray played on two 8-4 teams before the ‘97 squad.

Carr’s teams outathleted bad teams.

Marcus Ray should quit drinking and go to bed.

Tom Brady doesn’t criticize. He supports—quietly. That is what alumnae are supposed to do.

Did Marcus Ray play for Michigan, MSU or OSU?

He just mad cuz Charles and all the cool players used to treat Marcus like he was they little brother.

Marcus Ray's comments are so ironic. He bitches about Michigan fans being full of themselves and stuck in the past. He acts like because he was part of the championship team that everyone should treat him like the GOAT. We get it dude, you used to be good. Quit bitching about everything and seeking attention. 

Tell me again who employs him to coach or analyze football?  No one for the former and cheap radio wanting some dumb hot takes for the latter.

Ehhh.... fuck him who cares.

I don’t even mind him talking shit about the team (although I think it’s been demonstrated that most often it’s not the coaching but the execution that have lost us big games) but the fact that he went to  talk shit to Sparty is super weird and shitty.

If it wasn’t for Woodson no one would know who Marcus Ray is
