what would have the one-loss teams ahead of Okie St done with the Cowboys' schedule (especially the OOC, OkieSt also played Central Arkansas and UT San Antonio), you'll see the answer.

But I have to say, if a directional school has to face Okie St in the playoffs, they're doomed.

I wonder how attendance is affected by night games on a Tue in Nov in the Midwest.   I know its good for TV but would have to think you get less turnout then a Saturday afternoon with weather and logistics of a weeknight game.

There is a huge difference percentage wise but MAC attendance is pretty horrible in general.  Here are numbers for this year.  Even if they see a 25-50% drop the TV money more than makes up for it.

Ohio 24034
WMU 22538
UT 21780
UB 19479
Akron 19118
BG 18638
CMU 18123
Miami 16464
NIU 15925
KSU 14061
Mass 12919
BSU 8528
EMU 5324

MACtion is like Applebee's. It's merely alright if there is nothing better. Go to a town where it's just fast food restaurants and Applebees , the townies regard it as gold, and have their formal events there...rehearsal dinners...prom dates, etc. Go to a MAC town and they regard their team like it's the Crimson Tide. Tonight, I would rather eat than starve, and I would rather watch football than whatever the hell my wife is watching upstairs (probably The Voice). So MACtion it is. PS I'm out of market, so no red wings.

Tuesday and Wednesday being better for attendance for these schools.  Exposure on TV, ok maybe but if I were a fan of these schools I couldn't go to any of their games.
