Loose Lips Sink Ships
Me thinks things are a tad bit more serious around Schembechler Hall this week.

I noticed way back in the 1980s that it isn't a big game unless the Wolverines lose. Once we win it is no longer considered a big game or a big win.

Josh Ross: "This rivalry is a big deal to me, I'm ready to go"
DPJ: "The energy will be up, it's a big rivalry game. We have all the motivation we need"
Us Mgobloggers might quibble on whether UM/MSU is a rivalry game, but it sounds like the team is good to go for the game. Personally, I think it's petty to think of this as just another game, especially with so many families in the state invested to one team or the other. Or both. For me, it is a rivalry because winning/losing this game affects my week as well as the week of the many Sparties I co-exist with at work. I really need us to win this game.
