LLP and the end of the semester
So, I'm kind of getting excited about Lucas Laval-Perry after Tim McCormick saying he has the potential to be the best pure point guard at Michigan since Rumeal*. But this leads to this question.
As read on MGoBlue:
Will be eligible to play for Michigan following the conclusion of the 2008 fall semester, following transfer from Arizona.
So a). When does Michigan's fall semester end in 2008, b). is there a different "fall semester" end date for the NCAA, c). do we hopefully have him for the Wisconsin game on New Year's Eve?
Any answers would be appreciated. Correct answers moreso.
*-This gets into whether a). Jalen wasn't a true point guard, b). Tim is just ignoring the Fab Five era in line with Michigan dictates, or c). he's saying LLP will be better than Jalen was. Which is it's own thing.

I'm pretty sure he's eligible to play sometime in December.

Am I too coked out already, but isn't it Laval Lucas-Perry? Or is it Perry Lucas-Laval? Which of those are first names and which ones aren't? OK, yes, I guess I am.

Yes, Mr. Laval Lucas-Perry is a very gifted man, as he is one of only *7* people in the entire world to have 3 first names.

His first game will be Dec. 20 against Oakland.

Saw him at the open practice/scrimmage after the northwestern football game.
Looks very quick and will be a monster on defense.
Had a steal with a nice dunk finish in the scrimmage.
He'll let us play man-to-man if we need to with Kelvin at point.
He's very solid with the ball under pressure and looks to be a good passer, so will be good at point, too.
Drained a three from the top of the key that was smooth and confident.
We're gonna shock the world!
just kidding, but I am excited

Kind of hard for McCormick to be correct considering LLP is NOT a pure point guard. He's a combo guard.
