LiveBlog Done/Open Thread

Now that the live blog is shut down thought we could move the discussion over here.

A few things:

1) DORSEY WOOOOOOOO!!!

2) Definitely noticed a solid change in Rich's demeanor at the presser. A few other people picked up on it too. He seemed much more confident and comfortable.

3) Any suspects on the negative recruiting in the Big 10 Rich talked about?

4) If Raback posts a comment here it is your duty to posbang him like whoa.

5) I think this class has an absolute ton of potential.

OKGO.

@varsityblue Jackson: had to fight off 2 SEC schools for Carvin Johnson last night.

Awesome to see the coaching staff find these over looked players. I'm very excited about where this team is headed!

I'm feeling pretty good about this class. It might just be the excitement of NSD, though. I like Dorsey, but not as much as I liked Parker. Tomorrow's Freep headline: "MSU rival Michigan signs criminal; coach melts down at presser." Here's to hoping Dorsey isn't the next Cissoko.

The way RR handled the press conference today was fantastic. Even the guy doing the Freep liveblog said "Rodriguez is getting annoyed at questions about it".

It's an excellent class. There are a lot of really good pieces. I think most people would like to have guys like M-Rob, Dorsey, and Josh Furman on their defense.

We addressed many needs and added depth at key positions. Getting Dorsey today was huge, as he could have an immediate impact.

I'm happy, although those reporters sure like to suck the positive air out of a room.

I'm happy with this class--especially relative to what's happened the past couple of years on the field. I think need was addressed well, and things are going to continue to get better.
