"Little Bird" Scouting Report on Michigan's 4 QBs, video

Giving no name, just saying he's an insider, Steve Deace, of Michigan Podcast, talks about the scouting report his "Little Bird" gave him on Michigan's current scholarship QBs.

It sounds like the talk of Dylan McCaffrey is the best of all:

"....he just never seems to make a bad decision.... I just cannot see how he's not a 3 year starter after this year. He will eventually pass Brandon Peters solely on the fact he just gets it more than Brandon Peters does. And I think that he wants it more."

Less than 2 months.

This is the clearest report on Brandon Peters/Dylan McCaffrey that I've heard. Nothing I've seen the last 2 months was this clear. Have you seen a report with this much clarity?

And it leads me again to this question: Where could this leave Brandon Peters? Will he transfer?

You also have to question if it’s legit. (I wasn’t able to listen/watch it, so I’m going solely on the quote.

But it sounds like a lot of hearsay. A practice observer noticed something, told this guy, who put it in his podcast.

Maybe theres truth to it, maybe there’s not. It’s also not up to the practice observer, as it would fall on the coaches to make any decisions regarding the QBs.

Its a lot like spring hype. It may mean something, it may mean absolutely nothing. At this point, it’s just noise.

Yeah... none of what he said about his “little birdie” tells me anything. It’s hearsay from an unnamed source.

I can say I have an inside source and say whatever I want. That doesn’t make it true.

Even if it were true (not saying it isn’t), you’re taking the word of a practice observer. Which ultimately doesn’t mean much.

Based on the scant info you keep giving and the repeated linking to the video, I have to believe you have some connection to the creator of that video and are simply trying to generate views for him. Plus, what’s with the continued reference to the little birdie. I know that’s what is said in the video, but why not just say source?

I have no connection to Steve Deace. If you didn't like the post, you could have just moved on to another one.

You can contact Steve Deace and ask the name of the source.

And I only linked the video once in comments. This is the only comment I did it in: https://mgoblog.com/comment/242991427#comment-242991427

There was no "repeated linking to the video".

Your speculation and exaggeration added no sports content, and only added to the fomenting of negativity. That is trolling.

Brandon Peters was getting first team reps throughout the Spring. No coach in the history of football wastes first team reps on a QB that isn’t expected to be a big part of the offense come fall. Those reps are way too important. If he gets beat out in the fall is another story. But right now these “reports” have the same feel as the “John O’Korn has been unstoppable leading the scout team” nonsense that dominated the message boards a few years ago.

We have 4 years to watch Dylan McCaffrey, and see how good this insider is. But all the commentors jumping on this post will remember nothing of it then. So all the down voting and mobbing being done today will not be held to any kind of accountability then.

So what does anything that happened today matter? Some people jumped on board with shredding something they knew nothing about.

And this blog has some kind of reputation for having insider knowledge. First hand experience tells otherwise.

Two months ago when I said BP would be gone after this year and DCaff would be a 3 year starter everyone acted like I was just talking shit.

The above is as close to fact as Shea being eligible was.

Some other fun facts because im bored - expect Hudson to be the starting LT. Not set in stone obviously, but about 80%.

Martin and Perry deadlocked on the slot, gonna be a battle.

Kurt Taylor is better than everyone thinks.
