Shitballs
i heard it was mostly his dad that wanted him to go there. why do parents have to be so involved in these decisions. at the end of the day, its the kids life and choice. <:(
my opinion is that more often than not, the parents being involved is a positive for Michigan. Given the "family atmosphere" of the team and the academics, our school is very appealing to parents. It just didn't happen to work out this time.
I think it can work both ways, but it really depends on the parents. I think I read somewhere that Saban basically tells parents that he can get their kid in the NFL. If the parents have dollar signs in their eyes and don't really care about education or the other stuff, they may push a kid in that direction.
this time? name once in recent memory we haven't lost a head-to-head announcement. seems like every time. all good though. recruiting class is still strong.
Last one I remember is Terrelle Pryor.
Jarrod Wilson was a press conference style announcement we weren't sure of and got. So that's one...
Mitch McGary.
HEY! You stole mine from the "prediction" thread! Jerk!
/s Well played, Gorgeous.
The article was in the Detroit Free Press. His father said that EJ wanted to be an FBI agent and he wanted to major in computer forensics. FSU has that major. We do not. I knew when I read the article at lunch he was committing to FSU.
Good luck to the kid. Solid program, and he'll probably be a really nice player for them.
you really can't blame him for picking FSU
Well we can't get em all!
are you saying recruits aren't like Pokemon?

If it was Pokemon all we'd need is a link cable and a friend with Red Version.
Well this is a dissapointment. I'm going to say the weather played a factor for one. Because its the only the reason I can think of that makes me feel better. I mean what has FSU done lately besides recruit top notch players and turn out nothing? Good luck to him though, 75 degrees year round might convince me to leave this windy cold state as well.
The FSU ladies are nice all year round too.
Maybe he saw this?
I'm sure he saw waaaaayyyyy more than that - and they weren't standing still either.
standing still?...some may not have even been standing up
Ah, love is in the air this spring.
Fuller found his wife? Enlighten me.
Well done, made me laugh harder than anything all day.
...but we don't get THAT in these here parts. Good luck to the young man - not that he'll need it. With the likes of her anyway.
are hotter.
You made an account just to post that.

I figured I needed to make an account at some point. So why not now? To apparently be flamebait.
The U should be lower case these days.

You're just jealous because our players have more "fun" then yours.
Thats comical at best. I'm not sure if you're serious, in which case you mean they party hard. I know this doesn't mean on the football field because I've never heard of football players that have fun playing at or below .500. I know for a fact October 20th will be a day of great mourning in south Florida. Massacre will most aptly describe the events that take place on that day.

I was being sarcastic. We went 7-5. Our worst loss was by 8 and we had 3 games that we lost by 4 points or less, one of which was against your preseason #6 team. Have fun getting hyped up for another disappointing season this year. Also, at least we could beat a ranked team last season. You're kidding yourself if you think it will be a massacre, its going to be close, and seeing as we don't have jacory to screw everything up this season I see us winning it in the 4th quarter this season. Remember your squad was absolutely manhandled on the field, Miami just screwed itself with stupid turnovers and bonedheaded plays.
April 27th, 2012 at 10:10 AM ^
We didn't beat a ranked team? Nebraska and Notre Dame were ranked and Virginia Tech may have been ranked as well. I'm with ya on Jacory, he's garbage. I still think FSU is gonna molest y'all though.
My African American friends seem to be keen on things not disclosed in the photograph. (bums)
I'd take Ann Arbor and seasons over Tallahassee and sweltering heat most of the year.
It's muggy as HELL in Tally. HUGE cockroaches in the panhandle of Florida aka South Alabama.
Not completely true about the heat. I live about 2 hours west and it's really only unbearable for about 3 months out of the year. It just seems longer cuz it is so hot. The rest of the year isn't so bad. The cockroaches however you can't argue against. And it's called Lower Alabama or L.A.!

Humidity...is what I was referring to.
ulously hot (August and September). The rest of the year it's fabulous. And if you saw cockroaches it was because your place wasn't clean. Tally is really nice, about the size A2 was ten years ago, and the Panhandle Gulf is one of the last beautiful largely unspoiled places (well, keeping our fingers crossed about the BP spill long-term).
I came up and spent a summer in A2 and found it ridiculously hot and muggy THERE.
I'd still take smart and interesting A2 girls over sorority sisters any day, though. I guess if you don't need them to talk. . .
Nice to see another Wolverine fan here in Tally!!
AKA Palmetto Cockroaches (Biggest, light colored brown, glidable) has nothing to do with "dirty" houses. Those are German.
wish the kid well. At least on the bright side, this will open up a spot at a position of need, like WR.

Have you seen Sebastian LaRue's highlights. Kid can cut on a dime and leave change. He makes some pretty ridiculous plays. http://www.youtube.com/v/O96AfhZUqtU&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param
FSU vs. Michigan? Not even in the same discussion as to quality of institution. Many kids say this but don't know what it means or don't really care. If this was truly important to him or he would be a part of this class.
michigan didn't have his major, homie.
And if you are looking to study criminal behavior, FSU has historically been a pretty good place to do so.
Had to Google FSU's school of criminal justice to see that people weren't making jokes about getting arrested.
