Let's say for arguments sake that Burke Stays
That would be fucking awesome eh? I hope he reads this post and realizes that a lot of people would be super butt hurt if he left.

If you really leave @ Trey_Burke3 I hope you tear both your ACL's next year.. You're an idiot. Youre just going ride the bench next year
There are idiots in every fanbase, but wow these people are stupid. It's not even official yet.
with burke, I think we beat the 96 bulls.
without him, we lose to tappan middle school.
There is no middle ground.
With Trey Burke I think we become the only team to ever beat the Harlem Globetrotters.
No way we would lose to Tappan next year. They just lost their star center Robert "Big Bobby" Mathews (the word was around the hallways that he could not only touch the net, but hold onto it, climb up and touch the rim). Without him they have no post presence, which is a huge part of their game. This years Tappan vs. next year's Michigan w/o Burke. I'm not so sure Michigan would be able to pull that one off.
that kid had some real game. 24" vertical, and only missed a few more bunnies than Jordan Morgan. I could probably get a scoutig report for the whole team, that might give us an edge.
Ohhhhhh Goodie. I like this thread much better than that other one.
STAY BURKE!
Burke stays. We go undefeated and win the NC. He decides this is so much fun that we're going to do it again. Repeat undefeated NC. Then he comes back for his senior season and the same results occur. It science.
It science indeed.
I'll repeat my theorem from the other thread:
Burke=higher ticket sales=happier DB=fewer dead drifters.
Drifters of Michigan, beware.
If he stays, how awesome will the CBS retraction article be to read?
from Iona wants a years worth of world class graduate education.
Burke will be back in Ann Arbor next year leading Michigan to another B1G championship. That is all.
Until it's he decides and says it, it really doesn't mean anything.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
I much prefer this argument.
I'm sure he's monitoring MGoBlog and Twitter very closely in aid to his ultimate decision.
I feel so relevant!
The kid is getting bad information, if Brian's source of "someone" telling him he's a 20-35 pick, which is late first, early second. That's not going to happen, period. He'll go undrafted, which sucks for only one person; Trey Burke. Him not getting drafted doesn't effect any of the idiots who are direct tweeting him, being jerks about it ... so to me, it's okay to be upset with the decision, especially if you think it's not the best decision for the kid - WHICH I DON'T. The one-n-done rule is a stupid rule, not because of the Kobe and LeBron, but because of guys like Trey Burke, who get very BAD INFORMATION ...... and this wouldn't be the first time a kid was told numbers like this and went undrafted. There are only so many spots, and there is only two rounds, one of which comes with a guaranteed contract. Heck, I think Sullinger should have returned, but, you can't argue with someone who's a lock - A LOCK - to be a lottery pick, and if Trey was, I'd be typing away on how it'd be best for him to move on, period.
He's not, so I am not.
You should really be happy that he has the opportunity to go to the NBA and not have any negative feelings toward him at all because of our own selfish feelings. Consider it a treat that we had him for one year at all because he could be at Penn State and that shitty team would be appreciating what he has done for their program. I have also heard that he was told he is a first round pick, and while I dont think it is a lock you have to remember that point guards are usually taken a little ahead of where they are projected. He is going to get drafted and maybe a certain team will give him a first round promise. In reality there have been rumblings for a few days that he has already attained an agent and is going to the league, it is not a question of if but when. Wish him well like the other schools are doing to their early entries. I really hope nobody who was kissing his ass all year is bashing him because he has a chance to better his life.
Three straight years we'd lose our starting underclass PG to the draft... And somehow we continue to plow towards elite in the BiG. Regardless, this dynamic, along with the arbitrary idiocy that is basketball refereeing, is why bball will always be #2 in my book to football.
