The old Academic Dick Measuring Contest--every time a kid commits somewhere else, the threads devolve into silly arguments about who has the best professors to fall asleep while listening to.

Lawrence Thomas is just more comfortable at MSU, has friends there, and yeah, MSU is going to be able to recruit some stars to play football there! WOW! Who'd have thunk that?

And I keep waiting for the proof that UM athletics is superior to MSU RIGHT NOW--which is where most recruits, and normal people, tend to live.

I'll stick to what US News and everyone else knows...MSU is not an elite school. It's not even a good school. It's decent. Some might say crappy, but I think "decent" is fair. For you to even think that MSU is on par with an Ivy eliminates the possibility that you could ever make a reasoned and accurate point. I'll stick to knowing that UofM is regarded by all as an excellent school. You stick to delusion and a massive inferiority complex (albeit fitting in your case).

Dude...Scroll up...you see that name "Tony", not "Tamburlaine", right?
Yeah, and then it indents...where my reply goes...to Tony.
So, ruh-tard, it was not a reply to you. Yours could be the dumbest post I've ever read. You're a true Spartan!

of Detroit Public School students graduate from high school. Even though they don't come to Michigan, I'm glad they are able to go to college somewhere.

Honestly, he is a great recruit but I thought we never really had a chance with him to begin with. Hopefully he realizes he made a stupid choice when he plays Michigan for the first time.

of the day award goes to mike valenti... wasn't it the day before signing day that he was making fun of everyone who got all worked up because of what 17 and 18 year old kids were going to do??? well i guess that its ok to care when your school lands the best player in the state.... valenti just updated his status with "Lawrence Thomas."
