And he hasn't thrown the ball in a live game in probably close to three years. I think that would be an even bigger disaster than O'Korn.

OSU is going to be blitzing like hell and bringing the house on nearly every play regardless of whoever we throw out at QB. Do you really want the guy they put out there to be someone who hasn't actually played the position since he's been in HS?

If Speight or Peters play I will convince myself we have a shot.  If it is someone else I will root like hell but don't think I can convince myself we have any sort of chance.

Good. Need all hands on deck on Saturday. But you've got to hope that Peters is healthy enough to play. Whether or not he plays will be the biggest difference (in my book) between winning and losing.

Unless the defense can come up with multiple defensive scores and set Michigan up with several short fields.

I was actually at a lunch earlier where this was discussed - you would never want to have McCaffrey's first meaningful Michigan minutes come in the Ohio State game unless there was nothing else to do. Hopefully, the news that Peters could be back in practice by Wednesday means he could see at least some time in concert with O'Korn (who probably will see minutes if they want to play it safe with Peters, so I assume).

Hell yeah! His presence could've swung the game last week. That one play where Powell got burnt probably wouldn't have happened and Wiscy/Hornibrook wouldn't have picked up momentum. Normally it'd be Hill on the outside with Ambry in the slot but Ambry had to to fill in for Hill and we had to play a guy I haven't seen on the field once this year.
