Timeout AZ....Well the freaking QB has a concussion...how can he remember the plays?
October 27th, 2012 at 7:18 PM ^
Rich Rod, man, you can't be serious here. Take the guy out.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:19 PM ^
And then he's going to yell at his QB who right now thinks he's in 6th grade and wonders why Mre Madison has stopped doing the multiplicatio drills and everybody's wearing the same funny looking clothes......
October 27th, 2012 at 7:19 PM ^
Announcer re: back to back time outs: "That made no sense..." Um, yeah, because the kid doesn't know where he is right now. Good god, pull the kid!
October 27th, 2012 at 7:20 PM ^
That looked like a Tom Gholston facemask twist right there
October 27th, 2012 at 7:20 PM ^
Who is this clown on CBS acting like Jones made the greatest play ever? The wr had terrible possession of the ball and jumped like an idiot. It wasn't that good of a play, keep it in your pants man.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:20 PM ^
Best concussed TD pass EVAR!!!
October 27th, 2012 at 7:20 PM ^
WOOOO 'ZONA!
October 27th, 2012 at 7:20 PM ^
Nice throw while being concussed.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:21 PM ^
oooops TAINT for OSU
October 27th, 2012 at 7:21 PM ^
USC has a defender out with a self inflicted head shot now.
No team has gone for more helmet to helmet hits than USC over the past decade.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:21 PM ^
Touchdown Arizona! Fuck you kiffin!
October 27th, 2012 at 7:21 PM ^
RRod. Looks like he has some stud WR's and a decent QB.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:21 PM ^
McGloin fucks up bad....
October 27th, 2012 at 7:22 PM ^
These refs in the UGA-FLA game have more yards throwing flags than Driskel and Murray have passing the football combined
October 27th, 2012 at 7:23 PM ^
There's no way Usc goes to the rose bowl without winning their conference now. The rose bowl seems very winnable if Oregon goes to the national championship.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:23 PM ^
PSU is in deep do-do now. They better open up the offense. /s
October 27th, 2012 at 7:24 PM ^
Go Dawgs! Fuck Florida! Glad those assholes lost. They didn't deserve to move up to #2 in the BCS in the first place.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:24 PM ^
When will the Pac12 petition somebody to get out of the Rose Bowl?
October 27th, 2012 at 7:24 PM ^
NOOO 'ZONA!
October 27th, 2012 at 7:28 PM ^
For putting a possibly concussed player right back in the game, is the blog going to cast as disapproving an eye over Arizona doing the same thing with a guy with even more obvious symptoms? Or is it ok if you're trying to beat USC?
Sorry, that was wrong.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:29 PM ^
I already have. Scroll up a few hundred comments or so......
October 27th, 2012 at 7:30 PM ^
There are already plenty of disapproving comments here
October 27th, 2012 at 7:35 PM ^
Just meant there there were posts, and front page references taking Dantonio to task. We even commended how OSU handle their QB injury in comparison. And leaving him in to score against USC, THEN taking him out because he can't play after that looks relly, really bad.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
... and Matt Scott has been taken out of the game by the medical staff. Rodriguez never once took a chance with a Michigan player and a concussion that I am aware of.
I see no comparison between Gholston/State, where he was out cold. And Matt Scott, where he appeared to never lose consciousness and showed no other signs of a concussion, but who did throw up.
ARIZONA BEATS USC! Brilliant win for Rodriguez.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
As you do that Scott "showed no other symptoms." (which is REALLY hard to believe considering THEY TOOK HIM OUT AFTER THEY SCORED). But that didn't stop you from skewering MSU's staff. But your hypocrisy was exactly what I was talking about. It's inexcusable when Dantonio does it, but Rich does it and it's ok...because he beat USC.
That sound you're hearing? It's the last shred of credibility you had leaving and slamming the door shut behind it.
October 27th, 2012 at 8:00 PM ^
I'm sure the Arizona win was disappointing for you; the Rodriguez win doesn't make me right, it just makes me happy.
MSU never did have an explanation for Gholston; we'll see what Arizona and Rodriguez say about Matt Scott.
October 27th, 2012 at 8:13 PM ^
I didn't want to see him sell out to beat them. But I was consistent and thought it was wrong when Danronio did it; think it was wrong when Rich did it. But I'm more disappointed in Rich, because I expect that from Dantonio, I didn't expect it from Rich with his track record.
But I'm glad you show that you'd gladly sacrifice the health of a kid so "you could be happy." I wanted USC and Kiffin to eat it; but not at any cost.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:28 PM ^
I was at the USC-Fresno game in '05 when Bush went off for 500 yards. Lee is in that category here. USC almost lost then, too.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:29 PM ^
Ugh, going for 2 and missing looms large right now for AZ.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:29 PM ^
The Meyer hype meter is ever increasing.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:32 PM ^
I hope they don't lose. The better their record is, the more the sanctions will hurt. If Michigan has the Legends Division locked up when we play them, I would almost want them to beat us and be undefeated. Almost.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:35 PM ^
if they undefeated going in and Michigan handed them their first loss? All they have to play for is an undefeated regular season, it would be sweet for Michigan to be the team that takes that away.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:35 PM ^
What? That is one of the dumbest things I've ever read online and that's saying quite a bit. I never want Ohio to win a game against anybody. Why would you ever (even "almost") want them to beat us? Fuck Ohio, bunch of cheating rednecks.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:41 PM ^
Don't worry, I was exaggerating. Watching them sit at home with a #1 or #2 BCS ranking would be sweet though.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:37 PM ^
I don't want to play an Ohio team that is 11-0. I'd like them to lose and have their confidence shaken first.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:31 PM ^
Have been done BEFORE you put him back in?
October 27th, 2012 at 7:37 PM ^
that it's very possible that the coaches had no idea that he was throwing up until after the drive, right?
October 27th, 2012 at 7:47 PM ^
Find it hard to believe a whole staff missed him getting hit in the head twice, when a penalty was called, and then were all looking a different way when he spent a couple of minutes projectile vomiting all over the field. But they caught it in the booth.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:31 PM ^
Arizona better not pull a Wisconsin
October 27th, 2012 at 7:35 PM ^
Or a Kansas.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:34 PM ^
Chris Spielman is an ahhole
October 27th, 2012 at 7:34 PM ^
One more first down and Zona's got this one....
October 27th, 2012 at 7:35 PM ^
Haha. People say Miller's better than Denard?
October 27th, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
I think you just reverse-jinxed him.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:36 PM ^
Braxton just made a Denardesque arm-punt
October 27th, 2012 at 7:36 PM ^
Ughh...I don't like USC getting the ball back, they're going to pull this out if they do.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:37 PM ^
So much for all that "one more first down" talk.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:38 PM ^
Alright. Ballgame time. Double up on Lee if you have to (though Woods is pretty damn good too). C'mon 'Zona. Nice punt and start to the final minute.
October 27th, 2012 at 7:40 PM ^
That decision by Arizona to not kick an extra point at the beginning of the quarter is looking pretty big right now.
Edit: now it looks way less important.
