I know Illinois was on his list of officials and was schedule to visit the school last weekend, but ended up cancelling his plans.

Next to Pipkins, Laquon has been one of the most anticipated recruits I've wanted to see commit... not only his he talented enough to produce during his freshman year, but he's got a great attitude. I see him and Shane having a great career/relationship at Michigan

When us fans begin looking for answers to bridge the domination gap we witnessed Saturday, the story begins and ends here.  Landing monster recruits like Shane, Quon and Green is what we will need to get back the magic Michigan mojo.

If Michigan gets him, the databases at Scout and Rivals are going to overload because of how far their class rank is going to skyrocket.

Wouldn't he be a real back-up back-up plan?  He's about as anonymous a recruit as there is at this point.  I bet we could find a back-up a little better than him.

That said, I'm getting more excited about C'sonte York.  He's looking more and more like a legit receiver threat.

Yeah he is super under the radar, but it seems like he knows that for him to get an offer others things have to change for us.

If you look at uncommited WR with offers there are:

Robert Foster - no longer recruiting

Devon Allen - likes Stanford and Texas

MarQuez North - seems SEC bound

James Quick - UL leads

John Ross - from LB Poly, haven't heard anything

Kyle LaPorte - from Piscataway, NJ, haven't heard anything

Not sure if anyone else will pop up on our radar as the HS season moves forward.

This guy is so important to this class.  He's a kid who will be an instant contributor, and we'll need him with a new QB next fall, regardless of who it is.

His visiting can only be a good thing but I'm still tempering my expectations until he takes all of his officials. If he did commit, this would raise spirits around here immensely.

I hope that's not the case, because I think Treadwell knows that the offense will be a lot different post-Denard than it is now.  Although since Air Force does not have Dee Milliner to the best of my knowledge, we might be able to put on a decent show with Devin.

We must also take into account who will be playing QB for the majority of Treadwell's career.  Even though DG at WR may give Treadwell an idea of how Borges will use him, it still will be a different, if ever so slightly system, than what will be run with Morris (the QB that will be with Tread for the majority of the year).  Denard is a special guy (I know, right?!?) and the offense will always be different with him at the helm, so I'm not sure how much DGs play will actually translate into how we use Treadwell in the future.

IMO, and by the looks of his incredible highligh reels, Treadwell knows that he'll be our #1 receiver almost instantly, and targeted frequently.

Either way, he is by far the most important piece to the masterful puzzle that is the 2013 class.

This reminds me of that other WR, was it Drake Harris (MSU Commit?) that was very short sighted stating that same statement about not liking our current offense or something. Also how he wanted a more accurate QB, even though Denard wouldn't be his QB. I hope he can tell the difference between watching this year's Borges Denard fusion cuisine and what the future offense will look like with Shane. Plus I've heard this before, hopefully it turns out in our favor this time

Using the very handy search engine, I see that BKfinest disappeared sometime around a year and a half ago which means that he likely took on a new identity and started posting under a pseudonym sometime around March of 2011.  So trust no one who started posting around that time.

to chant "We can Treadwell!" someitme in the first quarter? The louder the better.

I remember reading that for Taco, going to Crisler and hearing the student section chanting "We want Taco!" made a huge impression on him.
