KSU blog's attempt at B1G division names
Some KState blog (and the commenters) attempt to come up with some division names for the B1G and other conferences.
I find it hilarious that K State fans are taking pot shots at some of the Big Ten schools. Outside of the Michael Bishop era they've been downright awful most of the time.

Does it seem possible that this logo redesign is implying that we are going to expand to 16 (1 G) teams in the near future? Otherwise, I can't really find a logical explanation for the 1 instead of an I

Sorry,
First post after a year and half of being a member, just a reader, being in Italy working for the government, I don't get much new news over here. I know I miss alot of posts about division names, but I always thought it should be a "BLACK and BLUE" one.
I don't even know how to add a signature??????

I laughed at the Pac-10 suggested names of "Stems" and "Seeds".

This had nothing to do with the naming of the divisions, but I thought this was a really funny comment:
In completely unrelated news...
…someone just found BOTC by googling “Why KU sucks.”

OP writes: "Outside of the Michael Bishop era they've been downright awful most of the time."
Prior to Bill Snyder, yeah, but unless Michael Bishop had ten years of eligibility, K-State was better than awful for several other years:

Historically horrible, yes ... no argument here. I was just being detail-oriented and taking issue with the OP's statement, which suggested that they had one three-year run and nothing else to their name. I would have said something like "Until Bill Snyder turned the program around, etc."
Splittin' hairs ...

fair point, and yes Snyder worked magic there.
point remains that they're a brutal program, most of the big ten is light years better than they are historically and they are making fun of our schools? lol....

"Texas" and "Everybody Else." I thought a lot of the material was pretty funny. A lot of it sounded like they were pretty jealous of the Big Ten and angry the BT took away one of "their" teams, though.
Really, though, they should just STFU and be happy KSU doesn't have to get their asses handed to them by Nebraska every year.

Instead it's just making fun of the midwest. Done by people from Kansas. Which, like, umm.. yeah.

I have to agree with you there. I have yet to witness more intelligent football discussion/dissection anywhere. Not to mention the witty assassins that prowl this place.

3rd time this week I found something on the internet that I wanted to start a thread with and ended up posting on on another tread because...
A. I was trying to be concise and not have repetitive threads.
B. I was just being wimp.

Kansas State has played football since their beatdown of Oklahoma in the Big XII title game back in 03? Huh, who knew?
