I didn't want to admit this, but I think that both are going to be headcases.  I'll take a guy who falls in love with Michigan and realizes there and then his purpose on this earth.  Flip-flops are for beaches.

I think that this might have been a little more of a blow if he had made the decision a few weeks ago perhaps, but considering how 2012 and 2013 are shaping up on the offensive line, I don't anticipate losing any sleep over this decision coming now. Good luck to Alex.

That Auburn Business school was just too good for Kozan to pass up. Its hard to compete over a kid who claims acadmics and a good business program are the most important factors in his decision when you're competing against an acadmic powerhouse like Auburn...

Kozan's game theory skills led him to guaranteed Auburn b-school acceptance over Michigan without a b-school guarantee.

I don't really remember a ton of that class because it was at 8:30 AM (other than being the only class I had in the Education building), but that can't be right.

Oh well, back to 2013 recruiting...

Any chance Hoke told him we no longer had a spot for him with our burgeoning monster class of 2013? Or is he the type of kid you make room for? Sorry i just dont know much about recruits.

I actually am glad to see Auburn pulling in a really good OL class.  If we expect to compete for the MNC, we just may need their help in knocking off an Alabama or an LSU at some point in the near future.  That is, until we get some semblance of a playoff in place.

Good luck to Kozan and Diamond.

I have one message for you: grow up and leave the Kid alone. There might be a million good reasons for the guy to take his time considering--what if someone in his family got sick?--, and you go with "He's a flake and a bum." While I usually just roll my eyes, I like to think of Michigan fans as better than that.

Auburn, has warm weather, nice looking women from what I understand and perhaps most importantly is in the ESSS-EEE-CEEE which counts ESPN as a wholly owned subsidiary anymore and getting an offer from a (good) SEC school is just going to turn a kids head nowadays.  I'm just as confused about being unable to read a depth chart as everyone else, but it's not my call.  Good Luck to him.

Best of luck to him.  He would have been very nice to have for a solid three deep at center, but Kugler takes the sting out of this.

I don't mean to speculate, but I wonder how much $$$ Auburn threw at him and Diamond.

I'm just kidding, I clearly mean to speculate.

Oh well, that really hurts as we really don't have very many good offensive line recruits coming in in these next 2 classes.

This thread shows how steeply MGoBoard has gone downhill.

Way to bash a kid for not going to "your" school.

Sigh...Alex Alex Alex.  Depth chart wise, Kozan's choice makes no sense. Never expected him to ever enter the Ross buiding...c'mon you all knew the same.  I visualize Trooper Taylor picked him up in the infamous Tiger Prowl bus and was his spirit guide or his "weird naked Indian" guide while he got lost in the desert and found himself.  I could never commit to a guy with that name.....amirite rolldamntide?  He should have just gone to Iowa.  Maybe it is just me, but I just do not like to see midwest kids got to an sec "scew" (that's how the pronounce 'school' in the southeast......like screw w/o the r cuz they're "not into the whole brevity thing").

I hope he has a great NFL careeer because if the NFL isn't in his future, he made the wrong call.  Of course, getting into Ross is definitely not a given, particularly with the rigors of a major sport.
