Khalid Kareem to Bama
Disappointing, but best of luck to Khalid at Bama.
At least there's some good news possibly on the way later today.
Also: As a few posters in the comments below have said, Allen Trieu said Khalid was one of the "silent commits" that we've been hearing about over the past few weeks. Only 7 months til signing day!
LOLZ
...and they bitch and moan about sattelite camps
you forgot "best of luck to the young man"
I am not rooting for an ACL tear like a psycho but I probably will forget about him until I see him on ESPN/ABC/CBS in 3-4 years when Bama is playing a game and he makes a tackle. "Oh I remember him".
I hope he gets a really bad hangnail on his pinky toe
I hope he gets a real nasty brain freeze after eating some ice cream.
I hope his mom accidently sends him the real cheap toliet paper instead of the extra quilted he requested
I wish him the sensation of 1000 lost sneezes
...
* And no, this is not a specific accusation or sour grapes. I just like the picture.
Its like a turtle
This position group (DE) is amazing in how UM has so much trouble landing the big ones. MSU just landed 2 top 100 guys at DE - following up premier Big 10 player Calhoun who returns for his senior year rather than leave early. Bosas roam free at OSU. We get "Hand"ed and "Kareem"ed in back to back years and are celebrating our 2 star satellite camp finds. Sigh. DE just seems cursed here and has been so difficult to find a stud for us for many years.
Maybe James Hall has a kid about ready to be a HS SO or something somewhere out there.
Genuinely curious about your insights into their recruiting of D-Ends and maybe how Michigan could be better at it.
This is all part of Harbaugh's master plan. Khalid will take up a spot on Bama's roster until signing day, then BAM, he's going to switch to Michigan and leave Bama with one less 4 star player thereby screwing up their entire class.
edit: do I really need a disclaimer that I'm joking?
2016 Farmington Hills Harrison 4-star DE Khalid Kareem has committed to #Alabama

Khalid Kareem's dad told me yesterday afternoon they thought it was Michigan then Khalid decided for Alabama last night

it seems like that happens to Michigan all the time, though it is likely just because those are the ones that stick out.
That stinks, but best of luck to him
I'm not in the habit of wishing non-Michigan players good luck. You want him to have good luck playing agaisnt Michigan in the playoffs?
I hope he rides pine for the next 4 years.
going to downvote everyone that wishes the kid best of luck? Don't have to be a douche just because a kid spurned your favorite football team.
and how many times are you going to ask, capitan multipost?
like a really neat guy

It appears as if he is.
Not that I'm above that sort of pettiness, but I'm not Mr. Downvote this time.
I have no shame in admitting that I upvote my own posts. How can anyone love you if you don't love yourself first?
ALA-Bummer...
between now and February 2016. A lot can happen. He could decommit and move to Michigan, you just never know.
And their selling point was "early playing time". What a joke LOL
That and 3 National Championships in 6 years.
It sucks, but it's not like we lost him to Ole Miss. Then i would be up in arms.
yeah I get it that they are good. I can't blame the kid. But the fact that he mentions early playing time as one of the reasons is pretty laughable.
Sure it wasn't their vaunted Civil Engineering dept?
But this just reeks of bagmen. I'm not one to jump to that immediately but seriously, the late push by Bama snags a local kid who seemed like he was going Blue for so long.
To be fair, his dad is a HUGE Bama fan.

..........so........it wasn't really much of a "late push". They were near the top pretty much the whole time.
